I am a professional freelance SEO translator, with over 30 years of experience. I am specialized in IT translations, and in particular in website translations. I hold a degree in Computer Sciences, and have developed software of many types, ranging from airborne software to web sites. I have also chaired for ten years a software standardization committee.
I routinely perform multilingual SEO activities, both on my own websites and for my customers. My translations offer basic SEO, but some customers want me also to improve their search engine ranking, both for the localized and original pages.
I speak fluently English, Spanish, German, French, Dutch and Flemish. However, for quality reasons I only translate into English and Spanish, where I am truly “native”. If requested to translate to other languages, I subcontract the translation to a trusted translator and then perform the on-page SEO myself so as to ensure proper localization. My on-page and off-page SEO activities extend however to all the languages I speak. With the languages I speak I can therefore reach some 844 million native language speakers, which is obviously quite interesting for those that contract my website translation and multilingual SEO services.
I have created this site because I am a little tired about all the misconceptions that exist about the translation and localization of web pages, and I thought that it was about time that somebody started explaining the difficulties behind this very specialized aspect. People simple do not realize that multilingual SEO is not “just” SEO and localization as usual.
Should you wish to contact me (hopefully to give me work ;-), but I don’t mind other mails), then please use my SEO translator contact page.
